The YFEE was founded, as an association under Swiss law on July 7, 2009, and pursues the following aims:

* Connecting women in business, government, politics and science.
* Providing access to exclusive events and renowned people from business and politics.
* Providing relevant insights about career and economic topics.
* Promoting women in business in order to increase "Gender Balance" as an economic success factor.


We are an independent organization and do not represent any political or religious party.

 

Our Structure

Our Network counts 300 women as active network members, and 1550 in the extended network (March 2012).

Membership in our network is free of cost and without any obligation (informal membership).

Carole Hofmann is a Business Development, Communications and eCommerce Professional, with over 12 years of experience in the online field. She owns the company Bluefields Consulting Ltd.

Before, Carole Hofmann was Chief Communication Officer at a pharmaceutical company specializing in manufacturing and trading of generic drugs.

Carole Hofmann was further Co-Founder and Managing Partner at shiftTHINK Ltd., an IT-consulting company specialized in managing IT infrastructure projects and implementing large-scale IT security solutions for the finance industry. Besides her role as senior adviser in client projects, she was product manager for a social network management software.

Carole Hofmann holds a Master of Science degree in Psychology (business psychology, psychological methods, and information design) with minors in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) and Media Science from the University of Zurich.


Annette Liggenstorfer Heimlicher is Director of Corporate Development and member of the Managing Board at Contrinex AG, a leading firm in the automation industry with over 500 employees in 16 locations worldwide. In her function, she manages the company's global expansion and strategic developments. Furthermore, she is member of the Supervisory Board of Contrinex AG and serving on several Board of Directors within the company's country affiliates. She has been awarded the OSEC Export Award 2010 for the successful expansion of Contrinex to Brazil.

Previously, she worked as Associate Director, Strategy Implementation at the World Economic Forum in Geneva, an independent international organization committed to improving the state of the world.

Annette Heimlicher holds a Masters degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and a License in Monetary and Financial Economics from the University of Geneva.


Claudine Esseiva is Consultant at the Public Affairs & Public Relations Agency FurrerHugi&Partner AG, Bern, and also she is Co-Owner and Marketing Consultant at MACMAC Media AG in Fribourg.

Since June 2008 she is Secretary General of the Free Democratic Party (FDP) Women's chapter.

Claudine Esseiva holds a Masters in Entrepreneurship of HEG Fribourg and a degree in Business Studies FH from the School of Business Administration HSW, Fribourg.
